Arts, Tech, Ecology + Education with Community Improvement Impacts

Civic Design Studio is constantly exploring new technologies through a lens of arts, culture and ecology. Our new multiyear initiative is called Propa - short for “propagate.” Our goals are to connect green urban design education with community improvement efforts. Through art and design, we work with schools and communities to promote knowlege of water systems, ecology and connection to the land.

3D digital designs of gardens, outdoor classrooms, libraries and parks infuse our work in the schools and community.

We partner with architecture, carpentry, engineering and green urban design pathways that are perfectly positioned to create powerful change in their neighborhoods. 3D modeling leads to actual carpentry and metal builds in public spaces near the schools involved. We partner with local business districts, cultural and neighborhood leaders to actualize student ideas.
